Cake-A-Lot Return & Refund Policy

1. Perishable Goods Policy
Cakes and bakery items are perishable products and cannot be returned once delivered or picked up. Because cakes are custom-made and fresh, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind or taste preference.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your cake arrives damaged, incorrect, or significantly different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately with photos within 24 hours of delivery. We will review your concern and, if confirmed, offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

3. Cancellation Policy
• You may cancel your order up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery/pickup time.
• Cancellations made after this window may not be eligible for a refund due to preparation and baking processes already underway.
• Custom cakes (special designs or personalized messages) may have additional cancellation terms, and refunds may not be possible once preparation has begun.

4. Refund Process
• Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
• Please allow standard processing time as per your payment provider or bank.
• Refunds are generally issued only for valid quality issues or late/non-delivery where Cake-A-Lot is at fault.

5. How to Submit a Claim

6. Final Notes
• Minor differences in decoration or color are normal and not considered defects.
• Please inspect your cake upon delivery before accepting it.
